Best clinic I've use for my dogs, birds, and guinea pigs since 2004. Live in McKinney and still more than happy to go to Plano for the best care at a more than affordable price.
After taking my cockatiel to the emergency clinic in Carrollton where antibiotics were administered and x-rays and an overnight death watch were offered at the cost of $1000, I brought my bird to Parker Animal and Bird Clinic where my female was diagnosed immediately with peritonitis. (egg did not develop a shell) The Doctor extracted about a quarter cup of fluid from her abdomen and she went home with me. I started going here when I adopted an Austrailian shepherd that had heart worms and pneumonia. They offered to treat her for free since she came from the Plano shelter. Thru it all they were so caring of her. The treatment was rough on her but she came thru. I owe her long life to Parker animal and bird. They cared for her and our two other dogs and very tenderly helped us say goodbye to them this past year. 16 years with one clinic. They are number one in my book! When we moved to Plano over 20 years ago, we had three cats and no vet. Our neighbor highly recommended Dr. Blonien at the Parker Animal & Bird Clinic, since she'd taken her animals there for many years. The neighbor moved, we acquired more pets and kept the Vet! Dr. Blonien saved one of our cat's lives and I would never go to another clinic. Most amazing, caring doctors and staff that you will find anywhere. Started using them in 1999 and will continue as long as I have animals...okay, forever.
Dr. Thedford and Dr. Whetstone have each seen my animals and their care was beyond compare. They are also conscientious of people's budgets when laying out potential treatment plans. I have recommended them to countless friends, family, and coworkers with confidence.
