Good dentist pleasant personality Knowledgeable. Takes time to explain
Our son had 10 teeth decaying at 3!! The first dentist was cold, very matter of fact, and said 4 crowns, 4 fillings, 2 extractions!! Dr. Parker was warm, funny, and said oh no, and did 2 crowns and 10 fillings. The crowns were done in her office with him wrapped in a velcro hug board to keep him still. I wasn't allowed in the room, which I didn't like, but he did fine. There was a child across the hall having more difficulty whose mom was with him. This office is totally unprofessional. I took my 3 yr old to her first dentist appointment and they had no technique with helping kids adjust to the experience no video, no dolls nothing just open you mouth. The guy at the front desk had on a t shirt and jeans never said hi or anything just asked for my id and insurance card very rude. Dr. Parker wasn't very kid friendly either very "dry". Just found out that the fillings that were used in my children’s mouth contain 44% mercury from the dentist whose staff originally told me there was no mercury in the filling. I am livid and want this stuff out of my children’s mouth. They knew enough to tell me that they do not use mercury which suggests that they know that it is disposed of and is a toxic substance. Dr. Parker has been a good dentist, but some of her staff is very unprofessional and have shown to have poor attitudes towards clients and service. I once waited 2 or 3 days for a callback for an emergency appointment, and the woman who called was very difficult to work with and was argumentative, short tempered, quick-tongued, and exhibited a very 'ghetto' attitude when trying to schedule appointments. Dr Parker is a wonderful Doctor, but she has a HORRIBLE STAFF!!! Very unprofessional and unorganized. Ironically I left a message over a month ago to have the doctor call me.....to date, nothing. I also left a voicemail for her to call...nothing. Her staff is HORRIFIC!!!!! Unfortunately, this reflects on the doctor regardless of how good she is. You are only as good as your staff. I'll be moving on!
Dr Parker is a Pediatric Dentist who sees handicapped children, children with behavioral problems and apprehensive/fearful children. My son lives with autism and after a few bad experiences with another dentist I was pleased that Dr. Parker was kind, gentle, and more than anything else, patient! My son trusts Dr. Parker to the point that I don't have to accompany him into the examination area. Dr. Parker is a blessing in my son's life.
As a single mother, I am very particular about the care for my daughter and Dr. Parker and her staff as made the choice of picking her as my daughter dentist as easy as possible. I love the office because everything is the size for children from the chairs to the station walls and the decor' is so kid friendly which made it so easy for my daughter to visit there. I highly recommend this location to anyone. Great People
she's been a good dentist to my daughter, the clinic is very clean and the accomodation is good
