Good for a slow lunch! – I love good Italian food, and yes I am Italian. Being a Denver Native I have eaten at all the good and bad establishments in Denver. I have been here four times and for a cafateria style restaurant its ok. although I waited in a line on two occasions for over thirty minutes. I found the food to be good (not special) but the portions very small. For a lunch its fine but for a nice dinner," Forget about it" you have to wait in line for everything, including a cup of coffee, which you must get yourself,... read more
Its OK! – I have been here on many occasions, I hate to wait in a line to place an order, No class, kind of like a Micky Dees. The Sandwiches are very good, the pastas are average but very overpriced for what you get. I like the Decore, but you cant really relax and have a nice meal because of all the commotion around you...My advice is to change how you do business. get rid of the line to place an order. Get friendly Waiters and Waitresses and make people feel at home and not so rushed to eat and get out.
The reviews are too light! – They use words like great and the best - there are no words to describe this place. WHAT A TREAT!!!! Go!!! If not fro pizza then for any number of other fantastic dishes. Even their deli is to go for! Wish they were in my neighborhood instead of across town.
best italian food..... – .....and I can tell, I lived in Italy!!!!! We are on a trip from NY to LA, and were very happy to find this Italian dinner place in Denver! The spaghetti's and the salads were so good, that we even came twice, to eat here! The service was great and very friendly! We didn't have to wait long to get our meal! Overall.... I can highly recommend this place to everyone, who wants to eat like in Italy!
Get here early – if you are hungry, get here early, or you are going to wait... and for good reason! everything is fantastic. I could go everyday and order a new item...but then i would weigh 300 lbs. so authentic!
irresistable – truly authentic!!!!! I couldn't think of a place that reminds me more of Italy
Awesome Pizza! – By far, the best pizza in Denver. Reasonable prices and the food arrives promptly.
Half Italian – Was and still is a hidden jewell. Found several years ago, when they were at 44th and lowell. A place where another fine Italian Restaurant was born "Three sons!" It's one of those places that you wish would remain a secret to just a few, but once you visit. It's tough not to tell others.. I'm glad in their move, they keep it small and cozy. The decor and pictures remind me of pictures of my Grandfather and his Italian friends, as they grew up in North Denver. As for the food! They are no longer a secret Hidea... read more
Great lunch place! – Great lunch joint in the Highlands! Lots of great choices - salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and pasta! It's busy during lunch hour - be prepared. Don't miss the Italian grocery on the far side of the restaurant with great gelato and other Italian favorites for your kitchen!
