I've NEVER been disappointed at Paragon – I usually wander into Paragon for a leisurely weekend lunch, but I'm occasionally a visitor at busier times as well. The food, the service, and the beverages are top notch, the decor is exciting, the seating comfortable, the neighborhood lively. I really can't think of any cons, even the prices aren't too bad when you consider the value.

YUM!!! Best lunch I've had in a long time!!! – My mom and I wanted to have lunch before our spa appointments and conviently Paragon is right across the street from Aqueis. I had Salmon Ravioli and it was the BEST ravioli I've ever eaten! My mom had the Jerk Chicken sandwich and she said it was amazing. This will now be our permanent lunch before massages spot. THANK YOU!!!

Dont bring a group here – If you have plans to eat here with a group of friends...dont unless you are going to pick up the tab. They only allow groups if there is one check with one form of payment, plus 18% gratuity. Its not that great.

Consistently Impressive – I have used the Paragon for dinners, business meetings, staff parties, and so on. I have to say that Joe is the most accomodating individual I have dealt with, the food is creative and consistent and the staff is wonderful! Thank you!!!!

not what she used to be – When we moved to Portland, a friend took us here and it was striking. Great salads, appetizers, etc. Since then, we've had multiple bad experiences particularly with the bar. The bartenders had difficulty making a martini without considerable hand-holding including a round of dry martinis prepared inexplicably with sweet vermouth. The true crime was not ignorance but fraud. We drink vodka often. Recently, despite the sweet vermouth incident, we returned, and the Paragon served us Belvedere martinis ... read more

Simply fine, but not good – There is *nothing impressive* or interesting about Paragon, except it's location. They've got a good buzz, for whatever reason, so we tried it out. The dressing on the Caesar salad tasted like it was 99% mayonnaise, a Kraft Special. The service was slow, indifferent, and patronizing. Portland diners should be more savvy about where they take their friends, clients, family -- this place should not be high on anyone's list. It's mediocre at best. Even the wait staff seems to know it.

Great for parties! – My wife and I have eaten here on many occasions and it has become my lunch time business meeting location. The food is great, service is great, and a party in their gallery room is amazing. The atmosphere in that room is very sleek and cool. We had our rehearsal dinner hosted here and they did a great job !

suprise party – My girlfriend and I took a huge party to the Paragon, unannounced on a Friday night. The staff was accomidating, the food was excellent and the drinks were outstanding.

I love the corn beef sandwich! – Ooo! Yum! Yum! The fries are great too! As well as the pickle!
