So this was the 5th year I have stayed at this hotel. Prior years it was excellent...which is why we returned. This year.....lets start with one of the elevators did not work the entire time I was there.. very inconvenient. They did not clean our room or bring us towels after several requests. The phone did not work in the room so it was several trips up and down steps (remember one elevator) to inquire about our needs. Spent almost 1000.00 for 3 nights. Apparently they are under new management and you can definitely tell.

Room is nice and clean, great water pressure, great room service and the view is phenomenal. Staying here in August is always a great time and weather is super. If I had to find something to complain about, it would be the A/C kicking on and off scares the crap outta ya in the middle of the night. Other than that, I would recommend staying here.

Hotel views on 3-4th floors are perfect people watching balconies. Beds are good. Elevators are horrible at check out time and only 4 luggage carts in entire hotel. 8th floor rooms are like penthouses with nice jet tubs and huge balconies with awesome views. Tap House was good and friendly staff. Rooms could use some updates with fridges and microwaves. I would stay again.

Average OC hotel. Oceanfront room that's def aged. The seal on our refrigerator is broken so it won't stay shut all the way. Lock on sliding door is broken as well as the bar on the door to keep it from opening. It's clean but definitely could use updating. Nice, friendly staff. Staying here for the convenience since we are down for the airshow. Anywhere in OC is waaaayyyy overpriced for what you get. Almost $1000 for three nights (yes it's Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Would rather spend that kind of money for a long weeken... read more
