We were seated immediately, but seating is very cramped. We felt like we were sitting in the aisle and on top of the patrons next to us. Server was attentive and bubbly personality. Bread was to die for - so like real French bread from New Orleans. Food was seasoned well, hot and tasty. Would definitely dine there again. Only improvement I could suggest is to spread diners our a little.
It was packed so the service was slow but the food was great!
I was torn between 3 or 4 stars. The food was great especially the gator bites. Since the food was great I'll give 4 stars but the service was super slow and me coming from out of town i really wanted to try them. We arrived around 6:30pm didn't get our seat til 7:45pm we didn't get our food til like 10pm. I just the service was faster.
The service of the valet was great in helping with my husband's wheelchair...5 stars for that! Our other service and the food was good. What we did not like was the high level of noise, number of small children and screaming small children. This has gotten so bad at this location. We got our dessert to go. We will probably not return because of this or maybe use delivery.
We were at Pappadeaux for almost 3 hours due to a mix up in the kitchen, and plates of food being dropped. The food was not that great. The manager did come out and apologize and they paid for our dinners. I give them kudos for being honest about why we were waiting for so long. I don't think I would eat there again, just because the food wasn't worth how pricy it is.

The fried alligator was the best I have had anywhere in Dallas so far!
The food was delicious however we had to ask another waiter if they new who our waiter was... 15 minutes no drinks or assistance. Finally Justin offerred to be our waiter and took really good care of us.
Wonderful! Leftovers were great! Price could be a tad lower, but we would all go again.
