Perfect place for a date!!!!!! – OMG if you are going on a romantic date PAPATZUL is the place to go. The space with candles is truly amazing. Your date loves margaritas, mojitos, tequilas, beer, wine or even champagne, they have it all. They have vegeterian/ vegan (chile poblano relleno) dishes, fish, steak, lamb so you don't have to worry that your date won't find anything that he/she likes on the menu. Going on a date to Papatzul 100% satisfaction guaranteed!!!!
Unique and delicious mexican food in NY city .Very friendly staff. – Papatzul is a great place, beautiful light and welcoming atmosphere. I was at Papatzul with a bunch of friends and we were all more than pleased. This unique place offers a delicious and original selection of mexican dishes with a contemporary and impressive touch. Amazing and sophistical Mexican food in a cool and cozy setting – If you're used to standard tex-mex fare, you're in for a treat?this is the real enchilada! Lovingly presented and carefully prepared, the food here is delectable and sophisticated yet not overpriced. An awesome addition to Grand St and some seriously yummy food.
For some real Mexican food that is not overprized – I recomend this place wheter you want to take a formal dinner (apetizer, entre, desert), or if you want to do it more like tapas and order a bunch of smaller plates. EIther way make sure you try this restaurant, it reminds me of the food I use to have when growing up in Mexico City. Also the tequila choices are great.
Super-romantic and fun – Papatzul is beautiful and warm- the staff are lovely, the space is incredibly charming, in a fun location for going out afterward as well. Loved the strong, authentic Sangria, the jicama salad, and the rich Mole sauce. Reasonable prices as well- so excited to return as soon as possible.

Excellent Food, Great Bar Scene – Four years ago, I spent five months traveling around Mexico and ate a lot of authentic Mexican food. The food I had at Papatzul last night was amazing. It not only took me back four years, but tasted even better than the first time around! This is Mexican food with real class! The flavors are refined and well thought out.
