Bad Gourmet Food – My husband and I went here for a New Years Eve dinner and were hugely dissapointed. We paid $100 for the worst meal of our lives. My husband's lamb chops consisted mostly of fat and my beef tenderloin was not a $26 cut of meat. The side dishes totally overpowered the main entrees instead of complementing them. The only good thing was the dessert. The presentation was nice, but the food was NOT worth the price. Dessert stacks up to the main courses. – Papa Haydn's is a bit spendy for the average person to go to every day, but again, that makes the times you can afford to go all the more special. This restaurant never fails to please with its food quality, as I can recall, for some reason the Red Potato Salad stood out to me. Even an ordinary Cheeseburger has something a bit extra here. Wedding cakes, too – I wanted an unforgettable wedding cake, and got it from Papa Haydn. They can do any type of cake, including cheesecake in a variety of flavors. I did two different cheesecakes, and fleur de lis, which was awesome. We got so many comments from our guests. Kurt designed the cake with my feedback, and it turned out spectacularly. If I could do it over again, I wouldn't change a thing. Highly recommended!
