I Look Ten Years YOUNGER! – My daughter suggested we go to Panache Hair Studio near her University to get a hair makeover. I certainly needed it. My dull brown hair was overgrown and made me feel middle aged frumpy. Susie cut my hair into a layered bob with lots of what she called shattered edges. It looks great! Nice Place – I came here after leaving a high priced salon in downtown Decatur. Very happy with hair, but I am not happy about the signs regarding tipping on a credit card. This may turn into a deal-breaker for me. I should not be required to tip in cash......... Does that mean no tip if I have no cash and yes I am aware of an ATM next door.............

We ask that the client handle the tip directly with their stylists if they chose to tip because that is who is getting the tip, not the business. Our accountant has asked that this be done. If you chose to tip, there is a bank and atm right next to us. Most people also have checks also. Sorry that this is a problem but we want the business totally separate from any Gratuities that you want to give your stylist. We are glad you like your haircut and we would love to see you again
My hair went from Outdated to Outstanding! – I moved to Atlanta form Michigan and was looking for a salon. I read the reviews posted here and decided to give Panache a try. I was not disapointed. The salon was cute, affordably priced and my stylist Amber was fantastic! I have been coloring my hair blonde for years, but Amber took me from squash yellow to a beautiful champagne blonde and added low lights for contrast and to make it look more natural. Hairstylists are friendly (not snobby) and Song gives great haircuts! Also love their products (Aveda) – The first time I went to Panache was because of the great ratings I read here on citysearch! I had an appt with Song. I had previously gone to Greatclips every time I needed a haircut- but finally got tired of getting crappy uneven trims. Please give us a call so that we can go over your service. Shampoo, haircut and blowdry is $48 and flat Iron is $10 so your total would have been $58 plus whatever you tipped. I talked to song also . This happened 3 weeks ago and we cannot figure out why you were charged ten dollars more. From now on , I have asked my stylists to go over the cost before starting any service. GREAT EXPERIENCE – The great reviews got me to make a appointment at Panache. The owner Susie really helped me out. I have thinning hair due to a thyroid disorder and she gave me all sorts of tips to help my hair. She even knew about supplements! The highlite and haircut were so perfect for my hair and face. I felt so attractive leaving the salon.I have received tons of compliments and would recomend them to anyone who wants a nice unpretenous place to have their done.

Great color and stylist – The first time I went I did not have a great experience, but when I was there I say a stylist doing someone elses color and I liked what she did, so I requested her when I called to come in the next time. Great experience. Random pricing though. The first time I got a highlight/lowlight and it was $95. The second time I just got a highlight and it was $110, but worth it. Just make sure you ask about pricing.

We try very hard to be consistent with both our prices and our work but what the client needs can vary somewhat from each appointment. The $15.00 difference could have been because more foils were needed the next time or maybe a different product was used to get your results. It is always a good idea to discuss the price of any service before having the service done in any salon. No one wants surprises including the stylist. Where a guy can get a great haircut! – Okay, So I'm not quite the guy that goes nuts for a haircut. It wasn't until I turned 30 that it even occured to me that getting it done by a professional could be a good idea. Panache is the kind of place that guys like me love.
