Nail technician over painted manicure, causing the polish to lift and peel only after a couple days. Nails would get caught in hair or clothing. You can also see in the pictures blood on my left thumb nail. Most painful manicure I've ever had. I messaged the owner and she agreed to fix it. When I got there, she tried to charge me for a new set of nails. I asked for a refund, but she refused. She tried to justify and say gel polish doesn't last long. This is my favorite nail salon in LA! The nail techs are so kind, hardworking, fast, and detail-oriented, and they’re always able to match my Pinterest nail inspo pics. I leave with a perfect manicure that lasts 4+ weeks with no chipping every single time.
This was the worst and most disgusting manicure/pedicure I have ever gotten. They only had three pedicure chairs and two more tables for finger nail treatments. The shop is dinky and cramped. The pedicure chair wouldn't recline due to being pressed up against the mirrors. Its massage features were broken. It felt very uncomfortable to sit on. Even though I was late, my nail tech still squeezed me in and didn’t rush at all — which I seriously appreciated since it was cutting into her next appointment. She was so sweet and still gave me a flawless set! I’m genuinely excited to book again and see what other nail magic she can pull off. Definitely found my go-to! I’ve been going to Ivy for years. She took over the business for her cousin Ty who moved out of state and got new pedicure chairs. Her team is quick and my nails last 3 weeks every time without breaking. Really great quality
