Rushed appointments. Judgmental. Had to follow up ELEVEN times (over 7 months) with staff to get my insurance what they needed before they would prescribe. I never got Rx.
Dr. Abrams helped me with identifying and managing an intolerance and was very capable so I wanted her to become my primary care physician. Unfortunately, Dr. Abrams does not address the full scope of easily preventable diseases and long term health as claimed here. Therefore, I had to pursue another doctor.
Always prompt, professional, courteous, great practioner
I was a patient here for a couple years. I found the visits were pretty rushed. One major health problem I have was missed. I ended up diagnosing myself with research then contacted a specialist who confirmed my diagnosis. Dr Abrams is friendly. But I didn't feel comfortable continuing care there after several encounters less helpful than expected.
Dr Abrams and her team are awful. She would not refill any prescriptions from my previous Dr of 35 years and said they are unnecessary. I am Prescribed a muscle relaxer for my back And she said cyclobenzaprine is a controlled substance. This was after 2 months of her being my new Dr. I looked it up and it’s not a controlled substance. This office always has appoint... read more
My history with Family Practice Associates started 46 years ago with well-baby visits. I've followed the practice from Boulder, to Louisville, and now to Broomfield. I was pleased to "adopt" Dr Abrams for my annual health check physician. Yes, she is business-like, but I have never felt pushed-through during our annual conversation about my health. If I bring-up a concern, she will listen & respond.
I’ve been with Family Practice for 20 years and have had enough. I’ve cycled through countless primary care physicians and Dr Abrams is the only constant. For the past few years I’ve only been able to see physicians assistants and nursing assistants. The incompetence and poor follow up from the staff is the final straw for me. It takes 3-4 follow up calls from me to get results of readings and prescription refills each time. I’m looking for a new Dr and practice.
horrible, incompetent incomunicative this used to be a concerned caring practice, these past few years it has gone down hill. If you must go here, see Laura Bland only she is the only one that has any idea of how to care and treat patients
Dr. Abrams is a great physician. Always in the moment with you. Caring, sensitive and competent. I would insist my family go to her.
