Over the years (I'll soon be 80), I've worked with several psychiatrists, and Dr. Paluvoi is the best by far. She is refreshingly direct, very much a realist, never asks irrelevant questions, always identifies the real problems. Top marks.

She delayed the appointment by more than a week. Then she refused to answer any of my questions about my spouse who was having severe problems. A week later, no report and we are told she is out of touch until next week. Meanwhile my spouse in in the hospital without the report! Poor response... when the patient is in need. This violated the Hippocratic Oath, to do no harm. Her inaction is causing harm.

Dr. Pal literally saved my life, rescuing me from a degrading and humiliating relationship that was immobilizing me. She quickly understood my issues and gave me the concise, no-nonsense guidance I so desperately needed. She was compassionate and agreeable, and I will always be grateful to her.

I love Dr. Paluvoi! She’s very understanding, committed, empathetic, sincere. I’ve been seen g for a few years and I would recommend her to anyone who is struggling in life. She’s over all an amazing psychiatrist!

I have been seeing Dr. Paluvoi for more than 15 years. She has helped me significantly through a number of family and personal crises. I highly recommend her as a psychiatric caregiver. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. She listens, remembers circumstances discussed from previous visit, and is very knowledgeable of knowing when other medications should be tried. Other members of my family also have been patients of hers and would never think of going anywhere else. Professional and empathetic.

Why was my negative review in March 2018 deleted? My sister committed suicide after many years of care by Dr Paluvoi! I wanted to make sure others knew to be cautious risking their loved ones’ lives on her care!

I was recommended by a friend to see her about my depression. I showed up 15 minutes early at the office she shares with her husband who treats children's allergies. After being signed in I waited a very long hour with lots of sniffling, sneezing, crying children. For some reason she assumed I had arrived late. She was very cold and gave me a hasty and unsmiling 15 minute chat before dismissing me with a common SSRI. Later, I had better luck with my real doctor and a talk therapist.
