This is a classic 1950s-style American diner and soda fountain, juke box and all. The building is older, and has a lot of character (gingerbread ceilings, etc.) and the food ranges from traditional comfort food (e.g. burgers, spaghetti and meatballs) to healthy, somewhat more California-style fare (salads, for example). Chocolate MALTS are made here! � Not cheap—after all, it’s in downtown Palo Alto!—but always delicious.
