The practice misrepresents its physician assistants as dermatologists. When I complained about that, I was lectured by the manager that it was okay to refer to physician assistants as dermatologists. (which it is not). Two days later I got a letter in which I was dismissed as a patient even though I had never met Jeff Smith. Jeff also said the PA assessment of my scalp condition (which was 'nothing can be done') was good. I've subsequently been treated by another MD who prescribed meds.
We need more doctors like Dr. Smith. I drive 40 minutes just to see him. Wonderful caring doctor. The office staff is wonderful, including his nurses. You are listened to and Dr. Smith takes the time to answer questions and address your concerns.
Have not seen him BUT have been seen by B Addy & M Evans ( 2 of his employees ) . Upon my keeping a followUp appointment recently & voicing my concern about my problem that his doctor handled l was told , by his Office Mgr, HE " doesn't get involved " w/my type concern /problem with his staff ! ! ( Even though I believe he is the he SOLE owner of this practice & should take some interest / concern w/ANY matter[s] pertaining to his business.
