My 85 year old mother and I confused our appointment time and arrived 1 hour late. David worked us in and spent an great deal of time with us both. He then follow up exactly as he said he would after speaking with Dr. Benner the following Monday. He was more than patient and kind explaining her treatment options and the rationale for each. I highly recommend David and this office should you have the misfortune to need a thoracic or cardiovascular surgeon.

I found Dr Plewinski very caring and compassionate. Even though my medical issues were not life threatening, he was very attentive to my concerns and questions. I would definitely refer him to family and friends.

With Dr. Roberts I felt that I was in VERY good hands throughout the time I was under his care. I'd hope that anybody undergoing surgery would feel as comfortable as I did. He made my recovery much less of an 'ordeal' than it could have been. If I have to have more surgery I'd be happy to be under his care again. I had problem with vein harvest site. I called on the weekend and thought I'd be connected with an answering service, but it was the Dr. himself!!! Some great guy!

In this day when one can expect only a few minutes with a physician, I can tell you that this outstanding medical professional gave me his full attention for as long as it took me to ask, and receive answers to, my questions about a recent health issue. He took the time to explain exactly what was happening. I took his medical advice and I have seen marked improvement in the few days since my visit. What I valued more than anything else was the way he listened and respected what I was saying.

Dr Gersch was presented with a very serious problem. Me. Five blockeges in four arteries. Most between 95 to 99%. I needed open heart surgery. Dr Gersch spent an hour with my wife and I on the best way to correct all my blockages. She mapped out where my arteries and veins to be used to repair my heart would come from. She put a team together just for my unique situation. I am now 3 weeks post op. Feeling better everyday. Dr Gersch cares about her patients. She and her team saved my life.

Very professional from start to finish.He had two left hands and I do believe the standby left hand was much better looking than the one with a cast. But All got the job done to my satisfaction . David could do more with one hand than some with two.look forward to my next visit. That entire staff is totally awesome.

On December 20, 2017, I underwent a robotic-assisted lower left lung lobectomy. Dr. Gersch was my surgeon. Both my husband and I appreciated the thoroughness (and compassion) with which she explained what would take place. She also met with my family right after the surgery and they, too, were impressed by her time with them. It is very apparent that Dr. Gersch is current and skilled in her field.
