Because Dr. PALMER has a holistic dental practice, he offers natural alterative methods. My appointment was to have an implant put in my mouth. I was impressed when I was offered Nucalm. A natural safe way to keep me calm during the procedure. The dental assistant put leads behind my ears to block adrenaline, essentially oil under my chin, an eye mask, and earphones playing calming music. I am very terrified of any surgery or needles of any kind. So when I found out I was going to need a bone graft to get the implant I needed, I was very scared! Dr. Palmer went over all of the options I have for being awake/asleep and pain management. He helped me understand everything better and helped calm my nerves as much as possible.
