Over the weekend an upper molar began to cause pain. Monday morning I called the office. Blanca answered the phone. When I explained the issue, she consulted with S Shepherd, DMD, and asked if I could be in the office in 30 minutes. When I arrive ex-rays were taken, consultation with Dr Shepherd stating that the molar was abcessed. I was referred to Jeffery Garcia, DDS at Desert Oral Surgery where extraction was scheduled. Everyone in Scott Shepherd's office were very profession and caring.

Today’s cleaning was as great as a teeth cleaning can be. Cara was my hygienist and took gentle care of me during my cleaning (as usual). I have been coming to this office for a number of years now and am always treated kindly by Cara and the front office staff. I was seen by Dr. Shepherd today to review my annual X-rays and he was very thorough, examining each tooth and checking for any signs of cancer. I truly do love this office.

I have been going here for over two years. Trish is the one I see the most and she is great. I had a couple of questions today and she knew the answers. She is extremely professional and friendly. The entire staff is always pleasant, and Dr. Shepard is as good as it gets.

The appointment was great as usual, with one small snafu....the hygienist knocked a corner of my permanent retainer loose and I have to go to my orthodontist to get it reglued. A minor inconvenience for me but more for the orthodontist since I am flying out tomorrow afternoon and they have to squeeze me into their already existing full schedule.
