I was visiting in Palm Springs when I suddenly had severe pain in a tooth. The hotel concierge referred me to Dr. Shepherd, who was able to fit me into his schedule that same day. He and his team were just great...Dr. Shepherd took pictures and x-rays and then explained exactly what the problem was. When he determined that I needed a specialist to take care of the problem he had his staff phone around until they found a specialist he trusted who could also see me that afternoon. I was very worried about a problem that seemed to be developing, a year after implant surgery. The office staff was kind and understanding as usual, and managed to find an opening for a quick-check evaluation by Dr. Shepherd. It was only a tiny fragment, which he removed (painlessly -- he's really good at it!) on the spot. Worries removed, I left in a happy mood, feeling healed and whole again. Thank you, guys, for what you do. 💕

One of the toughest things to be is professional and friendly. And Palm Springs Family & Cosmetic Dentistry could teach a class on it. From check in to x-rays to photos to my cleaning I had a very comfortable experience and would recommend them to everyone! Dr. Shepherd was great. He was extremely thorough and explained every detail of each photo/x-ray. It's so scary to say that I look forward to going back to a dentist but I do! Thank you!!
Being new to Palm Springs this was my first visit to Palm Springs Dentistry. I couldn't have been happier with the service and thorough approach. From Peta at the front desk to Sandy for the prelims, Dr. Sheppard for his consult, and Steve for my cleaning, everyone was efficient and friendly. This will be my regular new dental office, no question.
