Steaks, chops and veal are the pride of the menu, while pasta and seafood items also make the cut, with the house specialty lobsters often weighing in at seven pounds. A dazzling 36-ounce New York Strip is available for the meat-loving couple that likes to share. For dessert, don't miss the tiramisu. See website for menus and further information.

Do not waste your time or money – This restaurant is many things but not upscale dining. I ordered the salmon when it was brought out it was rubber when asked for another I got an eye roll. Someone else ordered a med/rare steak that would considered well when brought to the table. We ordered a bottle of wine and about 15 minutes later it arrived. Our table had a server, buser, food runner and bread person waiting on us but yet we had to ask for refills for everything.
If you want Steak, go somewhere else – Went to the Palm as a family outing. The once a year get together, not at this place again, was dampened by the slow and inattentive service. The atmosphere was stale, dead and cold. No one in our party of six had a good meal and probably will not to return. Steaks were ok but very over priced, as was everything else. If you want to impress someone, go somewhere else.
GOOD, REALLY GOOD – I really like this restaurant. Food, service, ambience all are wonderful. Must have-mashed potato, fried onion, asparagus. Lobster and steak is unbeatable.
Great Lunch – I had lunch at Palm and had one of the best pieces of beef I had ever tasted. It was the sliced filet au poivre on a bed of mashed potatoes. At $15 it was a bargain. I must say the soup, entree, and dessert were top-notch. I found the caricatures painted on the walls to be entertaining, for an Applebee's, but not for a place like Palm.
Fabulous Palm – The Palm is famous for their lobster and they sure held true to that honor. I've lived in Atlanta all my life and have never been so satisfied with my dinner. More than enough portions at a reasonable price...I'm glad I got the chance to eat there.
Best place to never finish a meal... – The Palm is tops with it's incredible service and food. Everything was up to par! You definatley get what you pay for...and more. Biggest meal in Atlanta for the price. If it's your first time...and they know this...they usually make a big fuss over you.
Overrated – If you want a good steak go to Chops or Bones. This place is more expensive than either, and neither the service nor the food holds a candle to the two restaurants listed above. It is OK, but the steak I had was maybe worth $20, not $40 like I paid. The service wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't at the level of fine dining, like you are paying for.
Kill the Meat Dead. – I'm from NY. I've eaten at the original Palm a handful of times in the past 12 years. And loved it. So when business brought me to the Swissotel, I was looking forward to dinner at the Palm. It was lousy. The medium-rare steak was overcooked. The giant onion loaf that maitre d' brought us as a deep-fried consolation prize for waiting an eternity for our dinner was greasy and tasteless. It's a chain, with all the charmlessness and hokery that implies. The creamed spinach was fab, though. If you go, sit a... read more
