I just wanna thank the woman that was working the pm shift this past Sunday. I was ready to book a room but wanted to see a room first because I have bad allergies. I had their website with room rates and room types already up on my phone so I would know what to ask for. I also needed the first floor. I have had good rooms and not so great rooms at this hotel. They no longer have breakfast. You have to go to the strip mall across the parking lot. The front desk employees are mostly very friendly. The restaurant is no longer part of the hotel. It's a good place to stay if you just want some sleep.
My son and I stayed here on a college visit to see Cal Lutheran. It was a perfect spot, very convenient to the school and to anything else you would need. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The pool and lounging area was quiet and also beautifully kept. They offered free breakfast at a restaurant just across the parking lot called Mikey's. The breakfast is scam, they give you coupon for outside restaurant which has 5 options to choose from and which are not good. I would say it's $5 breakfast. Ended up ordering something else from the full menu other that the 5 options they gave. The towels are worse, way too small, not worth $150-$200 they charge.
Cheap price clean rooms. Had to pay for breakfast 16 bucks per person, boo! Plus parking, super boo!!
