Some of these reviews are unfair. If you're paying such a low price for a hotel and expecting it to be boutique standard, you've gone wrong somewhere. The room was spotless and modern, the pool area was stunning, the breakfast was great. All of these things have to come at a cost if you're paying less than $200/night. Our only criticism is that (like most other hotels we've stayed in in the states!) the rooms were not soundproof at all. I really want to like this hotel, especially since it seemed like such a unique option for short-term visits at a reasonable price. The rooms smell. They SMELL. As someone with hospitality experience, this is because they don’t properly clean their carpets. We had ants in our bathroom, a ton of dead gnats in our shower, and some sort of small cockroach near our bed (pictured below). The front desk staff are not properly trained.
