They have a caring staff that is dealing with my dad and tolerating him well. He likes to depart early, at no fault of the staff, before treatment is complete. Throughout the whole process they went well beyond anything they had to do by getting him oxygen tanks and prescriptions even when he was leaving against medical advice (AMA). He’s know in both HF hospitals for doing this. But they welcome him back every time and are doing all they can to help heal him. I see God working through this event and the staff here. From my biker brother.... If you are having an emergency, don't go to Palm Bay Hospital. My wife was admitted through the ER yesterday and just went 21 hours without seeing a Dr. No discussions on test results, treatment plan, nothing. I looked up the hospital's rating, and it is rated, on average, in the bottom third of hospitals, and is not nationally rated (per U.S. News Health Report). I asked several times about the Dr throughout the day, and the answer was always "he's making rounds, he should be by soon". This hospita... read more
Staff is very professional and atmosphere is very relaxing.
Went there yesterday and cannot say enough about the hospital. Super organized from check in to check out, especially the nurses in pre op who Could not do enough to make me at ease and comfortable, along with Matt and Tom, who kept my wife updated with my surgery. Dr.Hensil, the orthopedic surgeon was top notch, careing, compassionate and professional in every way and he set 3 broken bones in my wrist in a half hour.
