We went to the Palace Cafe tonight looking forward to an intimate date night. The first half of the dinner was great. Nice, cosy atmosphere, delicious appetizer and salad. And then the loudest patrons I've ever come across at a pricier restaurant were sat behind us. I literally had to yell on more than one occasion for my husband to hear me. Delightful brunch. We didn't go too extravagant just eggs, bacon, and potatoes but it was delicious. Our server, Jake, was very good....quite personable. Good atmosphere and very comfortable. I didn't have one yesterday but they make an amazing Bloody Mary.

Before it got too late we decided to run up to Tulsa and grab a bite. While en route we discussed some of our favorites, but then opted to try someplace new. The Palace Café came to mind, and we now have a new option atop our list of "go to" places. I asked the waiter what he would recommend. He said that the 'Chef's Tasting Menu' was a collection put together to wow one's senses. I ordered that and Donna ordered tenderloin from the regular menu.
