Dr. Palabrica has been my OB since I was 19. She delivered all 3 of my children.For 25 plus years she has taken really good care of me and explains things clearly. I’ve never felt like I couldn’t trust her or the decisions she’s helped me make about anything pregnancy related. Thank you Doc for 25 years plus of great healthcare services.
I had my child in 2005 and am still traumatized by my experience with Palabrica. It's extremely hard for me to find a doctor to trust these days... even 15 years later. I was young and trusted her as one should a doctor. She used scare tactics to push me to be induced, saying we couldn't wait any longer than 40 weeks because he would be too big. Dr Palabrica was my gynecologist all through college and then took me through 2 pregnancies and births plus 1 loss in between my kids. She's been awesome every step of the way and did a great job of listening to my needs/wants for childbirth. When I found out I had lost my pregnancy during an ultrasound, she was very caring and compassionate and really did make me feel a bit better about a sad situation. All in all, a great doctor!
Dr. Palabrica was very short with me, racing through the intake. When I stopped her to ask questions about the procedure (DNC) she was visibly annoyed. She was rough while doing the procedure, unlike most gynecologists that I am used to, who are gentle and understand that you are in a very vulnerable position on your back, being penetrated by foreign hands and instruments, especially when the procedure is painful. Afterward as she was leaving she said, "It probably feels like you were assaulted.
