We did Painting with the twist today for the first time and we loved it! It was so much fun and Shandra our teacher was the best. She was very funny and knowledgeable. She helo us a lot. If you are hesitant don’t. You will have the best time!
I'll explain why I gave only 2 stars working with Jim. To preface my review is..... I chose this activity b/c I needed to have unrushed time and not feel pressured "to do" something. So, my frame of mind is rushed - pressured - and under some extremely stressful circumstances. The time slot is for 2.5 hours. I went to leave and we were "done" in 1 hour & 20 minutes, candle and all. I feel if he had taken the time slot and really help to guide, I would be more satisfied with my painting. I had such an amazing time at Painting with a Twist in Coral Gables! I went with a group of friends, and we all had an absolute blast. The vibe was fun and relaxed, and it was the perfect activity for a night out. A huge shoutout to Jim, our instructor—he was incredible! Painting Became My Favorite Hobby Thanks to Jim! Painting started as a casual interest, but after attending Jim’s sessions at Painting with a Twist, it has truly become one of my favorite hobbies! We just celebrated my daughter’s birthday party here. Ashley was our artist and she did a phenomenal job of guiding a room full of kids through an adorable art project. The space is perfect for 14-20 artists. They gave me time before the party to set up, bring food and decorations. At the end of the activity you have 30 minutes for cake and hanging out.
