Dr. Polanco is my life saver , he has been my Dr. for many years now and has helped me in several occasions. He has done blocks and prps on me all bringing me great relief and helping me with my quality of life again . As a single mother that is something I truly value and appreciate. Great Doctor and great staff, Im not one that likes to wait a long time at Drs offices, but I have 2 doctors that I don't mind waiting because they are worth it, and he is one of them. Dr. Polanco is extremely professional and very understanding. Rachel is always available to answer procedure or treatment questions. and Aileen is always willing to help as well.
Dr Polanco was the pain magenta assigned to me case after bilateral shoulder multiple fractures fixed by reduction. He did not even speak to me. I am still in excruciating pain. He discharged me after surgery with 5 mg oxycodone. I have had to take double the dose to least at an 8 of pain otherwise over a ten otherwise. This morning I have an appointment with my pcp, hopefully she is able to help me.
Stay away from this provider. I should have looked on healthgrades first. I would give zero stars if I could. I am a medical provider and the treatment I received by this office was a embarrassment. The doctor has an office that is inside of a plastic surgery office. There is no waiting room, so you have to wait in the lobby of the building. Not a real pain management doctor. Dont waste your time. Makes your run through hoops and does nothing and makes you wait forever. Nice staff but staff doesn't fix your problem. While waiting all i saw was people with drain bags and in pain. Good luck if you get a surgery or treatment from this guy.
