Great hotel !
After reading the reviews before getting here not gonna lie I was worried...however our room was not as bad as people say.. no odor.. no wet floor.. update yes. Internet would not connect but we were ok with that..the only thing I can say bad is we got a very rude lady checking in.. super rude..
Location was great 👍 everything clean, very impressed with kitchen on the room, stove, glass plates, cups, forks all you need, so you don’t have to leave the hotel to eat,, Needs a lot of updates, old microwave with rust and dry dishes
It was awful !! Believe me, I don't ever give a re view but this time I had to !! Everything about it was dirty ,including the pool and hot tub. We regretted staying 2 nights !! There was no way we were going in the pool or hot tub !! There's no good restaurants nearby at all . We had to take a cab which was a fortune !! The whole visit to South Padre Island was disgusting !! I I would never recommend the South Padre hotel nor the Island itself !!
The hotel rooms need a major update. Alot of rust in the room, the bed was sunken in at the middle and the carpet and couch just felt dirty. Carpet in a room by the beach ia just a bad idea but you can tell the room has not been update since probably the 80s, who knows. Pros: the room had a great view of the ocean, close by too! The walk was super short to the beach and it was nice to have a private balcony. We also made use of the little kitchenette.
