The historic building is a treasure and downtown Bakersfield is much cleaner and revitalized as compared to my last visit 4 years ago. Nice to see since Bakersfield in general doesn’t always get the love it truly deserves given the draw of California’s bigger cities. Have always loved this hotel. The best location, rooms and room service! Makes my trips home to visit family feel like a luxury vacation.
I am writing this review specifically to commend the staff and management regarding our stay in Room 208.My friends and I booked this single-bed room last weekend. A few unexpected situations arose after midnight, and things quickly escalated into an incredibly intense, fast-paced situation.
