Our elderly dog is a regular patient at Smithfield Road Veterinary Hospital. My husband took her in for an annual exam in early June. He mentioned to them that she had just developed a cough. They gave him a prescription (listed only as "cough tabs" on the invoice,) said she had a heart murmur and gave a referral for a cardiologist. We have been taking our kitties to this veterinary clinic for some years now and recently I feel like the service is just not the same. I brought in a stray for a check up and vaccination. The veterinarians were very kind and sweet, however, they told me the cat had not had its first heat yet and she was free of parasites, we gave stool samples and everything.
