I truly enjoy going to the dentist. However, that is only because I, now, receive quality care. When I was a child, I was terrified to go to the dentist since my provider was insensitive and mechanical in all tasks. Once, he saw a cavity in one of my teeth and stuck a scaler in the cavity to confirm his suspicion. As I wiggled in pain, he sharply told me to sit still and jolted my shoulders back into the chair.
