Several years ago when I owned a business on Orange Ave., my father and I would eat at Paco's every day. Some days for lunch and some days for supper. We would always order a plate of nachos, followed by three cheese enchiladas, beans and rice. Your chips and salsa were the best. I have literally eaten there hundreds of times and Paco's has always been one of my favorite restaurants. I now live in Apopka and almost never come to town anymore. The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. Thanks for the memories. Pacos will always be more than a restaurant to me. It was like a part of the family.
So sad to hear Paco's is closing. My Dad, Jack Allen, helped Margie open the restaurant and I was working there bussing tables when she got the review in the Orlando Sentinel that made the restaurant so popular. It is a great family restaurant and it is a loss for the community that it is closing. Big chain restaurants cannot match the taste and atmosphere. You will be missed.
Please say its not so ... the only place that makes Chili Rellenos the way I like them . I'm so sad : ( I definitely will be stopping in to have one more meal ...
