Not really for tourists If you fly into Maui late, and you fly out of Maui early, and you are tired and just want to crash at the place closest to the airport, then it's the Maui Beach Hotel or the Maui Seaside Hotel. It's a clean hotel with small, standard rooms. Because it's centrally located (diagonal to Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Center) it's easy to find. It's a popular banquet site. The staff here usually is friendly and will go out of their way to help you.

Off the tourist path The Maui Beach hotel is not a resort property. You will find a lot of people staying here while they come to town on business or are attending an event. Overall, the rooms are standard, clean, and well maintained. Staff here are friendly and helpful. Most people pay around $100 a night to stay here, and I never could figure out why. Drive another half hour to Kihei or upcountry, and stay where you will leave with a pleasant memory.

Plenty of room here for receiptions People either love or hate the banquet food served here, so be sure you sample before you buy. There is plenty of parking and plenty of room here for meetings and receptions, and the hotel truly is centrally located.
