They are fantastic, the doulas are very knowledgable and experienced in many types on situations including vbac/tolac. My husband and I both felt very comfortable with them. The support they provided before and during labor was invaluable.
Jaclyn Taylor gave me much needed advice before and during my labor. She was always available to me when I had questions or concerns. She was non judgement and nothing but supportive. She also gave me much needed advice on breast feeding since his birth. It feels great to be successful with breast feeding and she has been a huge support in that.
Jaclyn Taylor helped me throughout my entire pregnancy. She was one of my biggest support persons in my pregnancy, delivery and postpartum. I was so thankful to have her with me in the delivery of my son. It was a very long tiring labor, in which she unceasingly was by my side. Breastfeeding was a big stressor for me, but she ensured my son got the proper latch, and that I knew how to keep milk production up. Annie was a total superstar doula for me at my hospital VBAC. She rubbed my back until her hands probably broke off, cradled my head when I roared like a momma lion in labor, and laughed at all my crazy delirious jokes. I had a wonderful birth and I honestly couldn't see it happen without her support and knowledge. She is everything anyone could ever need in a doula. I owe my VBAC to her I believe. Annie was my doula for the birth of my son, my second pregnancy after a second trimester loss. She was a quiet source of support and source of information.
Annie was a great support during my second pregnancy/birth. My first child was born via C-Section, which was not planned, so I very much wanted to do a VBAC and Annie was a tremendous support in helping me keep that vision. My labor pattern was very similar to that of the first birth and I was scared that it would end the same way, but with all my family's support and Annie's calming words and confidence I was able to have a successful VBAC and beautiful pictures to document it as well. Annie was a blessing to my self and my family , my labor turned scary quickly and she added such a calming affect!! I would highly recommend her!!
Annie went way and above her call of duty. She took me walking and we had time together before I was in labor. At the time of labor she brought things for my other kids to do. She had snacks also. Annie took lots of pictures. She help to encourage pushing. :) she kept saying that I could do it. She is an awesome doula.
