Cool place to live for my first time living alone. The New property manager makes me want to break my lease for the first time in 3.5 years. Sophia (the new apt manager) is hard to communicate with, even when trying your best. -her dog barks non stop at 6 am/7am, when confronted, is defensive instead of solution oriented. —her kids run around and scream all day -does not come in to repair when needed I just wanted to put this out there in case you are an individual looking for an actual quiet place to reside, this situation ... read more
Moved here to be closer to work. Ended up staying 8 years. Quiet area for the most part. Occasional airplane noise though. Only left the apt because I got a house. Location is prime. 10 mins to the ocean, and easy freeway access to get elsewhere. There are some upgrades to the building to keep pests away and open the area up even more than it already is. I just moved here not to long ago and the landlord been very helpful with me very kind and reasonable, quite place which I love and the people here are kind and very helpful.

We lived here for almost 10 years starting in late 2011. Good points: - When we first started living here, the rent was very reasonable and the first couple increases were low. However, annual increases starting in 2013 were $100-150/month. If you can get a good initial rate this could be fine, just know that increases will likely be high. - The location is good for easy freeway access. - Emergency maintenance requests were handled quickly (but see note about bad points below).
