I cannot even begin to tell you what a wonderful experience I have had with Pacific Bedrooms/Bruce McCombs. I had bought half of my Blackhawk bedroom set from a local retailer. When I went back to purchase the rest I was told that Blackhawk was no longer open and that I was pretty much out of luck. I was devastated. A handle on my dresser broke when friends were moving it for me. Don't lift furniture using the handle! It's not that much of a purchase but it certainly was necessary. I googled dealers for Blackhawk furniture and found Pacific Bedrooms. I had no documents from my original purchase so no clue what I had. Pacific Bedrooms was only place I could find that sold additional pieces to the bedroom set we purchased 9 years ago in South Carolina. I was extremely excited to think that I would be able to complete the remodel of our master bedroom and have all the furniture match - even 9 years later! My husband and I live in Ohio. A few years back we purchased a few pieces from the Blackhawk furniture line and wanted to obtain additional pieces 6 + years later. I live in Florida and was interested in purchasing a bedroom set that wasn't available locally. I was a little hesitant at first, but after speaking with Bruce on multiple occasions, decided to go ahead and place the order. Let me just say I'm glad that I did. After reading the negative review written by a dissatisfied customer, I feel compelled to share the experience I had with Bruce McCombs, owner of Pacific Bedrooms. I was interested in upgrading to a king size wall unit for a bedroom set that was manufactured by Blackhawk. When Blackhawk went out of business, Pacific Bedrooms purchased the remaining inventory from Blackhawk, but they did not have the unit I was interested in. I bought my 2 Blackhawk dressers about 10 years ago at a store in NC. I wasn't sure if Blackhawk furniture was still available until I went to the site of Pacific Bedrooms and inquired about the model I was looking for. I quickly received a response.
