This hospital condones and provides FOUR PAW DECLAWS on cats. I provided educational advice on their Facebook page. No arguing, no bashing. Simply education, such as a link to "The Paw Project." I have now been blocked, and educational links deleted.

This animal hospital is a disgrace. To have 4 kittens 4 foot declawed and call it rescue is a SHAME! They stand firm believing declawed cats aren't turned out into the streets as often as unaltered cats. There is no truth to that. I would not take my cats anywhere near this place. Shame on you.

Business response:

We recently removed the post because instead of it being about rehoming the kittens, it brought negativity to the page. Yes we declaw, no these kittens have not been declawed yet, and of course they will be spayed and neutered before adoption. The original post was mis-worded on our part, we were not trying to glorify the action of 4 foot declawing cats, however if the clients wishes to have their cats declawed we will do so after educating them on ways to keep their cats from scratching or tearing up furniture but sometimes... read more

Best vet we've ever been to. Like family. They always go above and beyond and take wonderful care of our dogs. There are very few people or places that we trust with our pups, but PAH is definitely one of them.

I would NEVER take any animal here NOR recommend this "hospital" to anyone. They are a butcher shop- declawing all 4 paws. They are supposed to be educating people on declawing not promoting it. They are definitely not for the well being of their animals. Kinda a joke they are getting paid to chop off the toes. Don't even give the adopters a choice.

Declawing is disgusting and this place encourages it!

I will state that I was excited to read about the TNR work...but then that excitement was quickly lost by reading that you declaw kittens for adoption...as if 2 paw declaws aren't horrible enough....you declaw all 4 paws...leaving the kitten practically defenseless should the kitty ever get out.... I just don't understand why you would do this? Do you allow the kittens/cats to be returned to you in once they quit using the litter box because their feet hurt so bad that they can't use it and their owners decide to dump them b... read more
