We worked with PJ Cook as Concretors on a recent project and were shocked at the level of unprofessional conduct. He removed key surveyor’s pegs before and after the concrete pour, then blamed us for the slab being out of square — despite his own photographic evidence showing our string lines and formwork were correctly aligned with the original set-out. I contacted PJ Cook about building a granny flat at my investment property in Tuggerah. PJ Cook's team has been helpful and professional throughout the process, from start to finish. I've never been involved in a construction project before, so their ongoing assistance has been needed and greatly appreciated. The build itself was in line with their proposed timeline. We hired Peter Cook and his team to build our Granny flat at our investment property. We received an extremely professional, reliable and the highest of quality result. Our tenant has been extremely happy living in this beautiful space. We would not use anyone else for our future projects.
Worst experience with builder to date. I have dealt with many builders over the years and these guys are the worst by a mile. The owner was rude, arrogant and unhelpful and his employees and trades mirrored his attitude. If they spent as much time on doing the right thing by the customer as they did on designing contracts to screw the customer over, they might not have so many unhappy customers.
