Dr. Tien was absolutely wonderful. I got an appointment in 2 days, he saw my problem, took x-rays, and operated on my arm the next day- a Saturday! We set up a rehab appointment at our next visit- 2 weeks after surgery. I continued in rehab for over 3 mo. He is a very caring, professional doctor. Extremely approachable, a very genuine person. The arthritic first joint my index finger has given me much pain for the last several years. After several steroid injections which was effective pain reliever until last year. Dr. Tien was through in explaining my options. In November he fused the finger joint. The surgery recovery was just as he explained. Dr. Tien performed carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand. He did an excellent job. I had no complication. There was little pain involved in the whole procedure. His brilliant, happy, confident personalty made the whole ordeal pleasurable. He was highly recommended by my RA Doctor and I agree with his high recommendation.
