I have been waiting for new service to be installed for 4 1/2 months. I was told 3 months. Now I'm locked into a contract with this company. I would not recommend.
RecommendedCannot recommend Ozark Electric Cooperative enough! Just had an energy audit performed on our new home, and the two gentlemen who came out were exceptionally nice and helpful. Not only did they recommend simple tips to keep our energy bill low, but they even came back by my house to drop off LED lightbulbs so we can easily change out the bulbs in our home. So pleased with the service they provide! Thank you!

Power outage going on 4 hours. I was told they are replacing a pole. Recording says would be back on by 9:15 pm and it is now 10:15 pm. Now all of the food everyone bought during this already stressful time is going to go bad!! Plus being laid off of work!
I called her in August to tell them to switch the automatic debits to my new account. They continued to try to draw from my closed account until they turned off my power for non-payment. I didn’t notice it hadn’t been paid because it’s been on auto pay for SEVENTEEN years. They then charged me $200 reconnection fee despite the numerous phone calls made to fix the problem. Apparently they think I was just calling to say hi! You’d think after seventeen years of on-time payments they would maybe believe me when I try to explain... read more
Two nice young men missed their Christmas dinner to come way out at the end of the line to get my power back on. Ozarks Electric always responds quickly to fix my power problems. I can’t recommend them highly enough!
