First timers to the Oyster Bay and it won't be our last. Service was great as was the food. My 11 daughter ate a dozen steamed oysters and sampled the other entrees on the table.
Told to wait outside when it is cold because of a fire ordnance. Really? We will take our business somewhere else. Are we going to be told to wait outside when it is raining or snowing?

I love this place! My favorite spot on Tuesdays for their oyster specials. Service is awesome!
First time patron today. My type of place! The atmosphere is fun and inviting, the .30 shrimp were fantastic, the beer was cold and refreshing and the service rocked! Next time I will try the oysters.
We have lived in Lawrenceville about a year and a half and actually found Oyster Bay before we moved. Of all the restaurants downtown it's by far our favorite. Great crab cakes, fried shrimp, fresh salads. We, ourselves, or out of town friends we have taken have tried nearly everything on the menu and no one has had any complaints. When our parents come to town they always want to go!
SEAFOOD PLATTER WAS DELICIOUS, FRIED GREEN TOMATOES, BROILED SEAFOOD PLATTER WAS GOOD!
Best shrimp po'boy I've had in years!!! The crab cake sandwhich was pretty fantastic too!
If you are looking for pristine decorations and exclusivity then this is not the place. Oyster bay is an eclectic seafood palace. From the freshest crab cakes to the juiciest coleslaw i have ever had. The food is excellent, service is excellent, and the atmosphere is welcoming. If you close your eyes and eat, you could almost be by the sea. This is my first time and definitely not my last. I am already planning my next trip and my first meal hasn't even been eaten yet. A++
