We had take out dinner there on our last night at the beach. It was great! We were staying a few doors down from the restaurant so we walked to pick up our food. We really appreciated the great meal they prepared for us. Next time we are in Nags Head we look forward to dining inside.
The food and service is always wonderful. Owens is our go to place for special family celebration dinners. Wanted to give them an extra shout out during this pandemic. They are taking every measure to keep the customers safe and comfortable. We went this week for our anniversary and felt very comfortable eating indoors but they do have outdoor seating if you prefer. Impeccable service and food as always...even during a pandemic. We will be back soon.
Let me start by saying we arrived and there was absolutely no wait, with that being said it should not have taken over an hour after we ordered for our food to have arrived! My scallops were dry, I ate one. My husband no 16 year old said their $30+ each plate were not very flavorful either. My special needs son did very well for an hour wait, but then could not eat. We are just trying to do our part in keeping everyone healthy. I wish you had asked for a manager while you were here so we could remedy your concerns. I always love going to this restaurant! They are always super nice and have really great seafood.
Tonight was our first experience dining here and everything about it was exceptional. Our server, Steve was so friendly and gave amazing service! The food was superb. Very impressed that your establishment offers gluten free options! We will definitely be back!
