Quaint! Food was great as was the service!
My husband and I have been eating at Owens for over 30 years. It has always been our favorite "special occasion" restaurant. We were nervous when we found out it was sold. We stopped in for brunch yesterday. The food and service was amazing. We went back for dinner last night for hubs bday, and went again for brunch today, lol. This is definitely going to be more than our special occasion spot from now on. Though I can imagine they're probably understaffed for brunch, there was nobody at the hostess stand. Waited 10 mins, someone said they'd be right with us, and even with staff moving down the hall, we were seemingly forgotten. We just left.
New menu, no cheese appetizer, messed up order 3 times. Out of some things, not as much on menu as before. New owners. Been coming here for 47 years. Never again- done. Thank you Owens family for prior 47 years of GREAT food, its a shame you sold your restuarant.
