RecommendedMy, My! Owens is the place to go if you want well prepared delicious food. Today was my wife's birthday and I took her to Owens. They were high class and our waitress was the very best! Her name is Tammy and she really served us well! I ordered a NY Strip and my wife ordered Broiled Flounder. Everything was prepared PERFECT! I would highly recommend when you are visiting the Outer Banks. We will definitely return the next time we are down here.

We celebrated my boyfriends parent's 50th wedding Anniversary at Owen's and everything was spectacular. The food was flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the the service from Dez was the best! We will be returning to Owen's next time we are in the OBX.

This is a beautiful restaurant. Very welcoming. The decor is warm and shot through with the historical flourishes one would expect from a restaurant that has survived over 7 decades. Just lovely. My recommendation would be to end your trip to this restaurant after walking to your table. Excuse yourself and leave. The food is gross. Bordering on rotten soft shell crab. The best prime rib I've ever had. Fork tender, cooked to perfection & a nice size portion. From moment we walked in the door to exiting was a wonderful experience.
Visited Owen's on the 4th of July. EVERYTHING served was too SALTY! Even the ranch salad dressing!! Had to repeatedly ask our waiter for items such as: drinks for the kids, extra condiments, and my dinner companion asked for a mixed drink and the waiter never brought it. BAD food AND service for the price you pay. $72 for one adult and one childs meal. Can NOT recommend and Will NOT return.
I've been dining at this Outer Banks treasure since 1981. It never ceases to present a solid experience, beginning to end. The food is delicious, the staff professional and friendly. We brought my mom tonight for her 85th birthday, she was so happy with her prime rib and being serenaded by the staff...Thank you Peaches et all! <3
