We came to Owens while on vacation to Siesta Key. Found on Yelp and this place didn't disappoint. I had the shrimp and grits and others in our party had fish and chips. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was awesome. Next time in town, this place will definitely be a must!!

We love going to Owens.. Our favorite thing there is the garden out back. Joe is so friendly and cooks oysters on the grill with bacon and jalapeño sauce! I don't want oysters any other way now!
Excellent food and excellent service, even for our large party. It was raining outside but the staff made sure everyone was packed in, happy, and served well. The menu choices are really good ... try the items not normal for your dining fare! Good selection of beverages on tap. Plainly put ... a fun evening with family made better with the folks at Owen's Fish Camp. Prices are totally in line with the food quality and the quantity.
Great service and even better food. Cant wait to make the trek form Tampa to Sarasota to Owens Fish Camp again very soon.
Shiela and I will echo what others are saying. Get there at 5 or before if you do not want to wait. But waiting on the back porch from Thursday to Sunday, you are treated to live music. If that music is even half as good as the food, it will be an experience you will want to come back again and again to sample. Collard greens are simply fantastic. The Tile fish was beautifully prepared and the Scamp in green tomato salsa was to die for.

First time there, it is a very cute and quaint place, nice backyard area, our service lady was super nice. We had the fish and chips which was good, the crispy chicken with brussel sprouts and potatoes- the brussel sprouts were far too salty and undercooked but we got another side after we mentioned that and then we also had the fish tacos which were a little salty but good.
