I have been treated for frozen shoulder in the past. I told Dr. McConville it felt like I had it again. After taking xrays he determined that this was indeed the case. He administered a cortisone shot that has completely relieved the problem. He answered my questions about why people get frozen shoulder and I was interested to learn that the cause is unknown. Good experience.

Dr. McConville is a highly skilled orthopedic surgeon who improved my quality of life greatly by repairing my torn rotator cuff (among other problems with my shoulder) which had given me pain for years. Had a torn meniscus, great experience from the moment I walked in the door to my last visit! Staff very welcoming and professional. Especially during these tough Covid times, they made you feel comfortable. The operating room staff was very professional and gave you a feeling of calm and kept you at ease. My knee feels great !!
I would enthusiastically recommend Dr. Owen McConville to anyone in need of a surgical consult or procedure. I had Doctor McConville repair a torn meniscus in 2015 and recovered fully and quickly. When I needed to repair my torn rotator cuff I would only consider using him for the procedure. One week post-surgery I am already starting to feel better. Dr McConville’s office should be a model for other offices. They are clean, prompt, helpful and knowledgeable. Dr McConville, himself, is smart and calming. The surgical unit is just as lovely. I was quite nervous. They were very calming. Not that I ever want to need orthopedic surgery again, but I’d go back if I needed their help.
