Stay Away from this lonely Owen Meislin – Repulsive Liar -Unprofessional -Office Staff Turnaround to often I rented from this liar for 5 years, paying 1 gran a month plus what ever late fees were incurred and legal fees if he decided to send a rit. This jack and his crazy office staff would take messages and act upon them. Once he sent his crackhead maintenance man to paint my place and he brought in someone that looked homeless to do the work for him and the guy ate from my refrigerator!!!!!! Flexible if you follow the rules – I recently asked Owen for permission to add a pet on my lease. He said no originally since I am sure that as a landlord he could tell many horror stories involving pets. I wrote a letter explaining that I know what I am doing and he changed his mind and approved my request. This experience demonstrates a willingness to work with tenants in good standing and shows that Owen sees his tenants as people not just rent checks.
PROFESSIONAL, PERSONABLE & COURTEOUS – I have been a tenant of OGM for 1 year. I have been in touch with the office staff numerous times and have found them to be courteous, personable and professional. They respond to my needs in exactly the way it was outlined to me when I signed my lease. Initially that seemed somewhat intimidating to me but I''ve come to respect their level of professionalism. I am looking forward to living in my home another year.
Owen G Meislin is a good man – I have been a tenant for ten years and enjoy living here. I never ask for service unless it is needed and he always gives me what I ask. I have never been turned down for a request. He has been good to me. Thank you, Regina
Legal Issues – After ending the lease, forfeiting the deposit and doing the requested repairs Owen G. Meislin still wants money from me. He is charging outrageous prices for work that was already done to the property prior to moving out. The house was left in great shape with pictures to prove it. Great Landlord – I'm going on 3 years renting from Owen and have never had a problem with either him or his staff. I don't understand why there are bad comments being posted about him at all. I recall when I had a minor plumbing problem, and the same day they had someone come by and fix it for me. He has never come to my apartment unannounced. I would most certainly recommend him as a landlord.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM WITH THE PEOPLE BELOW – I SIGNED A LEASE IN DECEMBER AND I HAVEN'T HAD ANY TROUBLE AND NOTHING BUT PRAISES FOR OWEN AND HIS STAFF
Simple liar – 17 months after I've moved out from the apartment I use to live in, he still didn't pay back the security deposit. I was talking to him and his employees 20+ times, they always assured me everything is OK and the check is on the way. When I called later complaining about not receiving anything, they've invented another story that they've moved the whole office and my file is most likely somewhere in the attic. Avoid Owen G. Meislin Real Estate for purchases! – As a realtor, Mr. Meislin is underhanded in his dealings. He sells substandard housing and refuses to allow buyers out of contracts once problems with properties are recognized. He claims to have the issues repaired, but "this just ain't so". He does everything is his power to not let a buyer out of a contract. So don't sign one with him. Just plain stay AWAY!!!!!
