If you’ve been feeling the “medical apathy” in the last few years like I have, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the amazing care and attention from the Overlake High Risk Cancer team. I’ve seen Patricia twice now and am incredibly grateful for the care and attention I’ve received. She’s gone above and beyond in my book, addressing my concerns even outside of the cancer realm, making sure I have referrals to appropriate providers, all the while interacting with sincerity and care. I have struggled for years with breast cancer anxiety. My mother had breast cancer twice and as a result, my annual mammogram always provokes a bit of anxiety as I wait for the results. Then after that, if there are any abnormalities or “additional films needed,” living with the several weeks one usually must wait for this exam and results.
