Carged for faulty work, charged $9,200 for used bilge pumpes,, ex. $75 for brown nasty steering fluid. He carged me for 2 quarts . I took it to Honda. $17 and they said it only takes 1 quart he put on engine with faulty attachment. He did not do 80% of the work and charged me $9200. . I would be glad to share pictures. And all the receipts I had to pay to fix my boat. . It’s like buying a transmission when you only needed a filter. Attorney said all paid receipts to fix my boat were all hearsay, Be CAREFUL
We took our boat here on October 11,2025 to get an estimate on repairs for the motor beeping and a new bimini top. Received a call back shortly after saying we needed a new wiring harness and the amount had to be pre-paid. Estimate was $3300.00 for all repairs and bimini top including labor. Then a few weeks later we get a call that the bimini top was mis quoted and we would owe another $300.00 when we picked our boat up. Cant say enough good about this shop, they helped me a lot.
I'm from Michigan and was a little leary buying parts sight unseen for my 73 Slickraft, but the service was excellent, the parts were correct, they arrived when they were supposed to, and I would recommend Outlaw Marine to anyone looking to repair their boat. I'll be sharing Outlaw Marine with all the marine mechanics in my area.
Don has a great boat shop. Always helpful and he really fixes things!
