It would have been great if someone cleaned the booth before I got in it in dim lighting only to have gum stuck to my brand new pants When I addressed it to our server, he didn't offer to clean up the gum which had stretched everywhere Dumb ...... Then the hostess was just as clueless. Won't be going back there. Happy Birthday.
The folks were nice. The food was not great. Steak was good. The crabs were awful. Way over cooked. Now I understand. It's a steak place. The steak was good. But if your going to serve something like crab. Make sure you know how to do it. Again people were great. Good was meh at best. Today I was contacted via Facebook from Outback. Don't listen to the bad reviews because the people saying bad things about this place have no idea what they're talking about. I've never had an issue here and everybody is super friendly.
I want to give a huge shout out to the Outback restaurant on Research Blvd in Austin-- everyone was just so pleasant and friendly! The food was fantastic. And I want to give a special thanks and appreciation to our server, Trey. I'm currently doing the Ideal Protein program and he was super helpful at finding ways I could stay within my dietary guidelines while still eating a truly scrumptious meal.
