When you have a few calories to spend... I'm not usually a fan of the "chains", but outback has a couple of wonderful signature dishes that keep me coming back. Their bloomin onion is always a favorite, and their blue cheese salad with steak is delicious. Great drinks that always hit the spot. This is for a caloric splurge, but they do it right!

Great reasonable food With your meal you get a salad or soup (both great), and this phenomenal little loaf of dark bread. The steaks are grilled to perfection, and the service is great. They have the best rice with their "grillers". And..don't forget the bloomin onion- wonderful!
Don't have to go downunder to get a great meal Outback steakhouse takes a slightly different spin on the average steakhouse. They serve it up Australian style. Potatos are "jackets," for example. They have the rough tavern style decor with wood floors and hanging skulls. Their steaks are okay. Not the best quality or the most tender, but the overall meal was very good. Definatey a good meal for the price.
