Amazed at how bad he is – This guy made me look worst after having surgery with him. I was considered to be good looking for a male to female, but after I had surgery with him I had areas that stuck out like he did not shave down or reshape my chin or jaw right. I had weird dents and bumps two weeks after surgery. I spoke with mira about it and she told me they would even out after three months. In my research I found that many of Dr. Ousterhout's patients share a speedy post-operative recovery period, a testament to his skill. I was able to see 'me' fairly quickly and even now, just thirteen days later, I am quite frankly amazed at how fast I've recovered considering what was done to me while I was under.

He is not a good surgeon – I spent the price of a house in some states with Dr. Ousterhout. I found him lacking in skill or well being. I had the works with him and when I had uneven chin and dents from him cutting it out putting it back with plates and screws. I was advised by him and Mira to take a hike when I ask if they would fix the problems. Don't waste your money with this guy. Karen

My consultation and subsequent pre-surgery appointment with Dr. Ousterhout was as fascinating as it was reassuring. I felt comfortable talking to him; he is honest, frank, and wise when it comes to his field of expertise. The latter observation may seem like a no-brainer to some but knowledge is not synonymous with wisdom. Overall, the experience was something of an adventure for me. Like any call to adventure, I was quite nervous going in; there seemed to be so many uncertainties about it, but I pressed on none the less. All of my fears proved to be unfounded however. Dr. Ousterhout and friends gave me something more than just a pretty face (yes - he did an amazing job); they gave me the experience of a lifetime.

Had very bad FFS results from him and does not fix problems – I had FFS with him and he left the front of my head uneven, he took out too much bone from left side of my jaw leaving it uneven to. Spoke with Mira about it and she was very rude to me. Asked to have the problems fixed they refused. Had to go to another dr to fix it for another $16K. A shane after spending $47K with Dr. Douglas Ousterhout. Look out they tell you what you want to hear and leave you in the cold. I fee stupid for trusting him and Mira.

The before and after photos in this book are the most stunning I have ever seen. For many of the patients in this book Dr. Ousterhout's surgery transforms them from someone who would not pass as a woman to someone whom you would never know.
